Yes these bones can live!

A couple of years ago I went on a trip by myself to Elk county PA. I needed to be alone with God and I wanted to see some of the PA elk herd. I saw about 30 elk the first day and felt incredibly blessed to witness them. The next morning as I was praying, studying and journaling I was reminded of the valley of the dry bones.

4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, "Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath[a]enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD."
It was clear that God was showing me something good. Something he wanted me to hold on to it. He said The dry bones represent a crushed spirit.
(Prov. 17:22) Speak to your spirit! I am God's workmanship, created to do good works, I am holy and blameless, I am a new creation through Christ Jesus, I am tenacious, I am relentless, I am a lover and a fighter. I am a mighty man of God, I am a multiplier, not a divider, It is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives in me. I am more than a conqueror, I am the righteousness of God. I am the head, not the tail. I am am always on top, not at the bottom.

9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

He showed me that the breath is the spirit of God. Speak the fruit of the spirit of God into your spirit. In the name of Jesus we speak forth from the Spirit of God Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, kindness and self control.

There is something powerful about speaking empowering words to yourself.
I go through long periods of time since then that I stop doing it & I feel the effects every time. I'm finding that the more I speak it, the more I believe it. I encourage you to make a commitment to speaking good words to yourself. Especially the fruit of the Spirit. You will feel stupid. You will think it's a waste of time and breath, but speak it till you start believing it. Speak it when you feel the least like doing it. Once you start believing it, your countenance will change and when you feel good about you, other people will too!
